Kumi'hono

Kumi'hono The kumi’hono, also referred to as fire-foxes, are medium-to-large-sized omnivorous mammals. They are significantly larger than dogs, but smaller than the wolves of Ahelia. Their features include red fur, a flattened skull, upright triangular ears, and three long ember-like tails. Their lower legs and feet resemble burning coals. The tips of their tails and the top of their backs burn with flame.

These ferocious creatures are terrifying to behold, and they are ferocious predators. With their keen sense of smell, they can easily track and hunt down their prey by scent alone.

In the wild, they tend to live in arid environments. However, many kumi’honos are caught and trained to be attack animals. Jack Frost’s general keeps many kumi’hono for the sake of instilling fear in others and burning down homes and villages with ease.
